The warm waters of the Arabian Sea, luxurious hotels, fascinating heritage and interesting culture together with year round sunshine make the Middle East a great holiday destination. Popular tourist areas include Bahrain, Cairo, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Bahrain with its authentic Arab heritage and reputation as relatively liberal and modern is a popular tourist destination. The island is home to castles including Qalat Al Bahrain which has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Cairo, Egypt (Mother of All Cities) is another popular destination. It is home to Egyptian Museum of Antiquities with its largest collection of Egyptian and Roman artefacts and Pyramids of Giza, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
